Like many of his time, Emsley spent the majority of his life farming the 230 acres of land he owned near Buffalo Creek.

Isham, a lifelong farmer, lived on over 1100 acres of land in the Buffalo Creek/Meadow Branch area southeast of Robbins (just east of the intersection of Hwy 24/27 and the Mt. Carmel Road). Williams Family History by Maxine Williams McNeill
Williams Family History by Maxine Williams McNeill
Copies of the first few pages of Maxine Williams McNeill's book "The Williams Family". These pages detail the stories handed down through the generations regarding the Jeremiah Williams family. I can not attest to their accuracy but they are at the very least informative and instructive for others to follow behind with additional research. A great deal of gratitude to Maxine Williams McNeill and the fellow Williams family researchers who put this book together.
