Will of Joseph Allen, Dec'd. Heirs: wife Elizabeth (my land and plantation), son Mark Allen (land in the fork of Cabbin Creek and Popes Creek), daughter Elizabeth "Betsy" Runalds (tract of land lying south of Wolf Pen Branch adjoining Leach), son Reuben Allen, son Joseph Allen and son John Allen. Executors: son Mark Allen and son-in-law Jeremiah Runalds. Witnesses: A. McNeill and John McCrummen. [Editor's Note: The proven date in the Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions was 19 Feb 1828. I think the date of Feb 1829 in the will is an error]
