      Christopher Ewe received 400 acres located on Gares Creek of Upper Little River west of the Northwest River.

      1756, Feb 25 -- Deed Book 1 Page 166, Cumberland County, NC
      Christopher Yow and wife Christian deeded John Underwood 200 acres southwest of Cape Fear River adjoining John Davis, Hugh and David Smith. Patented by John Martileer 1740 and sold to Yow 1747. Joseph Rainboult and William Hearing were witnesses.

      1770, Oct 15 -- Deed Book 4 Page 84, Cumberland County, NC
      Christopher Ewe Sr. and wife Christian deeded daughter Sarah Ewe 100 acres of a 400 acres tract patented by Ewe 1760. Henry Gaster and Arthur Boyse were witnesses.
