Notes |
- Family researchers of the Cockman family have contended that she was a Morgan -- while this is possible. I believe that she was a Richardson based on the following:
In the Revolutionary War application of David Richardson, his widow, Sarah lists the following children as of 10-27-1845: John Richardson, Polly Cockman, Jenney Smith, Nancy Richardson, Vicey Richardson, Betsey Morgan, Angy Brown, Peggy Richardson & Malony Smith. I have found no other Mary or Polly Cockman that could have been (age wise) the daughter of David Richardson.
