    Notes
    • James Dunlap's will only lists his children as Sarah, Fanny and John.

Several of the children that had been previously thought to have been children of James Dunlap are now believed to have been the children of his brother John Dunlap based on the following court case. The children of John Dunlap are listed based upon their reference as an heir to Isaac Brown in the following court case. It is my belief that Isaac Brown's wife was a Dunlap and that John Dunlap's children were likely his nieces and nephews...The Aaron Brown and Thomas Brown were sons of Isaac's.
