Ordered that Nathan Fry be appointed overseer of the road from the Bay Pond to Carthage and have the following hands to work: Harvel Johnson, John Jackson, Lockhart Fry Jr., John Fry, Thomas W. Fry, John Hannon, Daniel Caddell, Neill McDonald, Thomas Fry, Hardy Johnson, John Vick, Jesse Caddel and Jarret Graham.

Ordered to lay off a public road commencing at a point on the Joel Road near the residence of Cornelius Dunlap Esq. and proceeding to McLendons Creek on the land belonging to S.J. and M.B. Person thence to Leonard Lawhon's plantation intersecting the Raleigh Road near Coxes Muster Ground then following the tract of said road to a tract below Harvel Johnson's plantation thence by best route to a point in the Joel Road: Cornl. Dunlap, Madison M. Fry, John T. Ritter, Daniel Caddell, James Bryant, Joshua Naylor, L.W. Lawhon, Jesse Hannon, Richard Warner, William B. Fry and Lockhart Fry.
