    Gender Male
    Notes
    • Other than a story related to Allen Wallace (author of WILLIAM & CHANEY WALLACE & THEIR DECENDANTS) by Mrs. Addie Bethel Reeves shortly before her death in 1965, there is no record of Bascom Wallace. According to Mrs. Reeves, as was told to her by her mother-in-law, Louisa Eliza Wallace Reeves, who was a daughter of William & Chaney, Bascom Wallace left home as a young man headed for Alabama and was never heard from thereafter. Louisa Eliza was at that time a small child. Her mother would often cry over Bascom's departure and Louisa Eliza would climb the yard gate and call for Bascom (or "Banks" as he was called) to come home.
