      Jonathan Barns of Cumberland County and Sarah Steell of Cumberland County were married at the Deep River. Cornelius Tison, Thos. Branson, Gidean Gilbert, Powell Benbow, Mary Hall, Elizabeth Chason, Easther Smith, John Jones, James Barns, Jacob Barns, Elesebeth Barns, James Russell, Elisha Hunter, Margret Hunter and Mary Russell were present and served as witnesses.
