[Editor's Note: Howel Bruer deeded to Zacharia Green 1758 --> Green deeded 100a to [Frederick] Gregg and Richard Lyon 1769 --> William Campbell 1773; Green and wife Jeresth deeded 100 acres to John May 1769 --> Richard Lyon & Co. 1772]

      Howell Brewer received 200 acres located on Deep River adjoining his own line. [Editor's Note: Howel Bruer deeded to John May 1767 --> Richard Lions 1771]

      1758, Aug 29 -- Deed Book 1 Page 337, Cumberland County, NC
      Howel Bruer (of Orange County) deeded Zacharia Green 200 acres located on both sides of Deep River including place where Zacharia Green dwells adjoining his own line. Thomas Collins, Robert Cheek and Charles Campbell were witnesses.

    Petition of inhabitants of Orange and Cumberland counties to divide the counties and create a new county beginning at the intersection of Johnston, Orange and Cumberland county line running north 18 miles then west 42 miles, thence south 34 miles thence east 42 miles and north to the beginning.
